- This battery grip/holder is a Pro Battery Grip for the NIKON D80/D90 SLR cameras. The functions are the same as the original NIKON MB-D80.
- D80. It can hold 6 AA batteries (LR6 alkaline, HR6 Ni-Mh, FR6 Lithium, or ZR6 nickel-manganese AA batteries.) or one/two EN-EL3e Li-ion batteries, doubling the battery capacity of your camera.
- Vertical shutter release button on the Battery Grip makes shooting with the camera in a vertical position much easier, adding stability to the camera.
- Beware that the batteries should be put into the magazine before inserting the magazine into the grip!
- In this professional edition, it comes with several functional buttons. It will be much convenient while using. It has a tripod socket. It includes an alternate shutter-release button, AE-lock/AF-lock button and main/sub command dials for taking pictures in "tall" (portrait) orientation. How to use?
1. Open the battery grip connection cover on the camera ,and remove the interface pins cap on the battery grip.
2. Attach the battery grip to the camera by fitting the interface pins and attachment screw of the battery grip to the battery grip connection terminal and tripod socket of the camera .
3. Secure the battery grip by turning the attachment wheel firmly in the direction of the arrow.
